Sheltered by Grace: Transforming Lives and Ending Homelessness

In the heart of Logan, Queensland, a beacon of hope shines bright for those facing the harsh realities of homelessness. Sheltered by Grace, a remarkable not-for-profit organisation, stands as a testament to compassion and purpose, dedicated to making a profound difference in the lives of homeless individuals. Let's dive into the story of Sheltered by Grace, its founders, and their unwavering mission to transform lives.

Compassion in Action

Sheltered by Grace's vision is simple yet powerful: "Transformation." They aspire to restore dignity and independence to people who are homeless and disadvantaged, often facing complex challenges such as addictions, mental health issues, and domestic violence. Their commitment goes beyond just offering shelter; it's about empowering individuals to heal, regain control over their lives, address legal matters, and reconnect with loved ones. Through this, they aim to equip these individuals to step back into the world and live lives they love.

The organisation's mission perfectly encapsulates their purpose: "We're on a mission to sustainably end homelessness by building community to effectively deliver emergency shelter and targeted programs." Every word in this mission statement resonates with compassion and purpose. It's about more than providing a roof overhead; it's about creating a community that supports healing and transformation.
